How the technology works
The original hybrid fractional laser — two wavelengths through the same handpiece in the same pass: 2940nm Er:YAG ablates micro-channels in the surface while a 1470nm diode delivers non-ablative coagulative heat deeper in the dermis.
Near-ablative results (texture, pores, sun damage, fine lines, tone) with roughly 3-5 days of social downtime instead of CO2's 1-2 weeks. Motion tracking and integrated cooling let the operator paint to a target coverage percentage rather than stamping.
Workable on a broader range of skin types than fully ablative devices at conservative settings.
Patented technology
Hybrid Fractional Laser (HFL) is Sciton's simultaneous ablative-plus-non-ablative dual-wavelength delivery; Dynamic Thermal Optimization adjusts energy from measured skin temperature; optical motion tracking meters coverage evenly — software that makes less-experienced operators reproducible.
