The Aesthetic Index publishes evidence-led research on aesthetic devices, under a published editorial policy, for business buyers. Nothing on this site is medical, legal, regulatory, or financial advice. Always confirm device specifications, indications, and regulatory status directly with the manufacturer before purchasing or treating patients.

New and used price figures are references, not current quotes or offers. Sources and dates vary; check each device’s price notes. Used asking prices are not completed-sale values. Confirm the model, configuration and current terms with the seller.

FDA references may include clearance, approval and registration records, as well as manufacturer disclosures. Registration is not clearance or approval. Read our FDA guide. Verify the applicable record on accessdata.fda.gov before making claims in your own marketing.

Reviews must reflect your genuine first-hand experience operating the device. Do not submit manufacturer-supplied copy, competitor attacks, patient information, or false ownership claims. All submissions are moderated and we may edit for clarity or decline to publish. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive right to publish your review on this site.

When you request pricing, a recommendation, or financing information, we may share your contact details with relevant suppliers and partners as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not a party to any transaction you enter with a manufacturer, distributor, or lender.

Aggregate statistics (such as our FDA-status summary CSV) are published under CC BY 4.0.

Bulk catalog and chain exports are no longer public downloads. New research access is reviewed by request and requires an agreed scope and license. Previously downloaded files remain subject to their accompanying license.

Raw datasets — the device census and chain-fleet exports — are © The Aesthetic Index. Free for citation, research, and journalism with attribution and a link. Commercial redistribution or republication of the dataset requires written permission.

Device names, model names, brand names and logos referenced on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification and commentary only. The Aesthetic Index is not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by or endorsed by any manufacturer, distributor or lender named here, except where a relationship is expressly disclosed — see Ownership and conflicts.

Nothing published here is medical, clinical, legal, regulatory, tax or financial advice, and nothing creates a professional relationship between you and us. Decisions about buying, financing, operating or marketing a device are yours, taken with your own advisers.

Prices and operating-cost figures may come from owner reports, seller quotes, listings or other sources. Some records have incomplete evidence. Calculator results depend on the inputs you use. Check the available source notes and confirm costs before relying on them.

Blocks labeled "Editorial analysis — opinion, not a finding" are the founder's reading of the record and are published only where a source is on file. Other records may contain reported figures or incomplete evidence; check their source notes. Do not treat either as a statement of fact about a company's conduct.

Public review license. What you submit for publication — your written review, ratings, photos you mark as publishable and the approved transcript of any voice recording (the audio itself is never published) — you license to The Aesthetic Index on a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive basis to publish, edit for length and clarity, quote and translate, with the reviewer name and business name you chose. You keep ownership. You can ask us to unpublish it at any time.

Private verification evidence. Invoices, purchase orders, service agreements, serial-number photos and anything else you send to prove ownership are NOT licensed for publication. They are read by the founder to stamp a verification tier, never published, never shared with a manufacturer, distributor or lender, and deleted 30 days after the verification decision, or earlier on request.

Optional research-data permission. The figures you report — price paid, consumable cost, treatment volume, service cost — may be used as anonymous, aggregated data points in reports and data products, with no name, business name, city or serial number attached. This is separate from publishing your review: email hello@aestheticindex.co and we will exclude your figures from aggregates while still publishing the review.

Deletion: email hello@aestheticindex.co and we will delete your review, your evidence files and your voice recording within 30 days, keeping only what the law requires us to keep.

If a figure or statement about your device or company is wrong, send the correct information and a source through our corrections page. We correct factual errors and note the change on the page. Corrections are handled by the founder, who is the only editor of this site.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice that identifies the work, identifies the material and its URL, gives your contact details, and states under penalty of perjury that you are the owner or authorized agent and hold a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. Send it to hello@aestheticindex.co with "DMCA" in the subject line. We remove or disable infringing material on a valid notice and will pass the notice to the person who submitted the material, who may counter-notify.

A DMCA designated agent has not yet been registered with the U.S. Copyright Office; until then send notices to hello@aestheticindex.co with “DMCA” in the subject line.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Aesthetic Index LLC, its members, managers and founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, equipment purchases, financing costs or data loss, arising from your use of the site or reliance on anything published here — even if we were told such damages were possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or from your use of the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you and we each consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
