Owner review policy
Our review program is new and we are recruiting founding reviewers. This page states exactly who may review, how we verify first-hand experience, what we do with proof, and what manufacturers can and cannot do about a review.
Who is eligible
You may review a device if you or your business owned, leased, or operated it — as an owner, clinical director, provider, operator, finance lead, or former owner. Reviews must reflect hands-on experience with the specific platform, not a demo, a training session, or a competitor's account of it.
Manufacturers, distributors, their employees, and paid consultants may not submit reviews of their own devices. If you have any commercial relationship with the manufacturer, you must disclose it on the form; disclosed relationships are published alongside the review, and undisclosed ones are grounds for removal.
One review per device per business. You may update your review at any time.
How we verify you
We verify every reviewer through at least one of four routes:
- Business-domain email. We send a verification link to your work email at the practice's own domain.
- Redacted invoice or lease. Purchase order, invoice, or finance agreement showing the device and your business name — pricing, account numbers and any other detail may be blacked out.
- Photo with a one-time code. A photo of the device in your treatment room with a code we give you written on a note beside it.
- Short interview. A 10-minute call with our team when the routes above aren't practical.
Verified reviews carry a Verified Owner badge. Unverified submissions are not published.
What happens to your proof
Proof is used only for verification. It is access-restricted to the moderation team, never shown publicly, never shared with the manufacturer, and deleted within 30 days of our decision. We retain only the fact that verification succeeded and which route was used.
Your work email is stored privately and is never publicly readable. If you choose anonymous attribution, your identity stays with us and only your role, state and answers publish.
Incentives
Founding reviewers receive a thank-you gift card — a flat thank-you for an honest review, paid regardless of sentiment. We do not pay more for positive reviews, we do not withhold payment for negative ones, and we never ask you to change a rating.
Every incentivized review is labeled “Incentivized” on the device profile.
Moderation and appeals
We check every submission for eligibility, verification, undisclosed relationships, personally identifying details about patients or staff, and claims we cannot square with the record. We edit for typos and remove personal data — we do not soften criticism.
If we decline or remove your review, we tell you why and you can appeal once by replying to that notice or via our contact page. A second reviewer, not the original moderator, decides the appeal.
Manufacturer responses
Manufacturers may post one public response per review, published directly beneath it and labeled as the manufacturer's response.
Manufacturers may never remove, edit, or delay a review, and never see your private verification proof, your work email, or your identity when you review anonymously. Membership tiers buy profile features — never influence over reviews, ratings, or FDA data.
Corrections
If a published review contains a factual error, either the reviewer or the manufacturer can request a correction through our contact page. Corrected reviews carry a visible note stating what changed and when.
