How the technology works
The 810nm diode delivers ultra-short high-peak-power pulses at 4,800 watts through extra-large spots, sweeping in-motion so follicles accumulate heat evenly — the thermal-averaging principle Sciton proved with Forever BARE.
Blend mode mixes 940nm and 1060nm for deeper penetration with less epidermal melanin absorption, extending safe treatment to darker Fitzpatrick types. Constant-contact sapphire cooling throughout; Speed mode for throughput, Comfort mode for gentler accumulation.
Patented technology
BAREit is Sciton's proprietary high-speed diode handpiece; the Blend wavelength-mixing delivery and motion-averaged pulsing are the protected differentiators, with the finned sapphire cooling carried over from the BBL family.
