The LightSheer® Pulsed Diode Array Laser Systems are intended for use on all skin types (Fitzpatrick skin types I - VI), including tanned skin. LightSheer® DuetTM Laser Systems with LightSheerV ET T M Laser Handpiece is indicated for the treatment of vascular lesions, including angiomas, hemangiomas, telangiectasia and other benign vascular lesions, and the treatment for pseudofolliculitis barbae. The LightSheer® Dueftm Laser System with LightSheer® ET Tm Laser Handpiece is also indicated for hair removal, permanent hair reduction, and the treatment of benign pigmented lesions and leg veins. How the technology works
Single-wavelength 805nm diode — melanin absorbs, heat destroys the follicle's regenerative structures. Typical range is Fitzpatrick I-IV; V-VI treatable with longer pulses, lower fluence, and an experienced hand.
Cleared for hair removal/permanent reduction; also treats pseudofolliculitis barbae well — a meaningful niche in diverse markets.
Patented technology
Two handpieces define it: the HS 22x35mm vacuum-assist (gel-free, fast, lower-pain) and the ET 9x9mm with ChillTip sapphire cooling for precision and darker skin. The vacuum-assist concept was genuinely innovative in 2009 and still holds up.
