How the technology works
Q-switched Nd:YAG delivers ~5-20 nanosecond pulses that shatter tattoo ink and melanin photoacoustically.
The SI's PhotoAcoustic Technology Pulse (PTP) mode splits energy into twin pulses ~100 microseconds apart, delivering up to ~60% more energy per shot with less epidermal heating — the basis of low-fluence laser toning for melasma in darker skin.
The flat-top homogenized beam avoids the hot spots that cause pinpoint bleeding and hypopigmentation on cheaper Q-switched lasers. Dye handpieces convert 532nm to 585nm (sky blue ink) and 650nm (green) for true multicolor work.
Patented technology
PTP dual-pulse delivery and the Smart Infinite (SI) flat-top precision optics are the ConBio-patented differentiators, along with the proprietary MultiLite dye-conversion handpiece system.
