Semi-insulated needle design concentrates thermal injury near the tips — deeper treatment on higher settings with less surface damage than fully non-insulated systems. Controlled dermal coagulation triggers neocollagenesis over 4-12 weeks (judge results at 3 months, not 2 weeks).
