Not a laser — fractional plasma driven by unipolar RF at 40.68 MHz: metal-pin tips are charged, and as each pin approaches the skin the voltage ionizes the air gap into micro plasma arcs that ablate tiny channels while residual RF delivers surrounding thermal stimulation.
Operators tune the plasma-to-thermal ratio from light "Opus Glow" epidermal work to deeper resurfacing for wrinkles, acne scars, texture, crepey skin (face, neck, chest, hands; periorbital with the Colibri applicator).
No chromophores involved — marketed as more flexible across skin types than ablative lasers, though PIH caution on Fitzpatrick IV+ still applies.
