Photobiomodulation has real cell-level and small-clinical-trial support — red/NIR light interacting with mitochondrial chromophores, with most published human data in localized applications (joint pain, tendinopathy, skin).
Full-body bed dosing is a newer, thinner literature: plausible mechanism, encouraging pilot data on recovery and soreness, but nothing like the evidence behind localized laser or LED panels.
