How the technology works
Core is a long-pulsed 1064nm Nd:YAG: deep penetration, low melanin absorption — standard of care for dark-skin hair removal and leg/facial vessels; in low-fluence multi-pass mode (Laser Genesis) it gently heats the dermis for diffuse redness and texture.
ProWave 770 is variable-spectrum pulsed light for lighter-type hair removal; LimeLight is IPL for pigment/photorejuvenation; Titan uses broadband infrared (~1100-1800nm) to bulk-heat the dermis for modest, gradual tightening.
Patented technology
Titan is Cutera's sealed infrared handpiece with continuous sapphire cooling — the real story is it's pulse-count-limited and must go back to Cutera for recharge. Laser Genesis is a trademarked protocol rather than hardware, but it's a genuine patient-retention engine.
