The Arctic advertises treatment air in the -110C to -140C range (marketing cites extremes reflecting the nitrogen circuit, not sustained cabin air — take spec-sheet numbers with salt); no controlled study shows better clinical outcomes at colder set points for wellness sessions.
Evidence supports short-term soreness relief and subjective recovery — not immunity, weight-loss, or disease claims. The genuine engineering advance: clients breathe oxygenated room air with the head fully inside the cabin — unlike open-top nitrogen saunas where vapor exposure and hypoxia were real risks.
Patented technology
The "breathable air" closed-loop design — liquid nitrogen cools the cabin through a heat exchanger and is never released into the client space — is a real safety architecture, not just branding. Glass front, touchscreen session control, adjustable window height are experience features on top.
