How the technology works
595nm pulsed-dye laser — light generated by pumping rhodamine dye lands on hemoglobin's absorption peak. Pulse durations 0.45-40ms let you purpurically rupture vessels (fast pulses, port wine stains) or gently coagulate (long pulses, bruise-free rosacea).
The Perfecta's signature 8-micro-pulse structure delivers high energy while limiting purpura. Treats PWS, infantile hemangiomas, telangiectasia, rosacea, red hypertrophic scars and striae, warts, angiomas.
Patented technology
DCD — timed cryogen spray milliseconds before each pulse — is Candela's flagship IP and genuinely protects the epidermis at high fluences; the 8-pulse macropulse structure is the other differentiator.
