Head to head
Morpheus8 vs VirtueRF (2026)
Published new pricing is limited: Morpheus8 lists $40k–$120k depending on configuration (standalone Morpheus8 console $40k–$60k; InMode multi-handpiece platform bundle $80k–$120k), but we haven't verified a new-price band for VirtueRF — see the table below for what we've confirmed. Both are used for RF microneedling, so choose on consumable cost per treatment, cleared indications and how many treatments you can realistically book each month.
Category group: Skin tightening & remodeling (RF microneedling, monopolar RF, HIFU)

Consumable economics
Consumable cost / lock-in
- Cartessa VirtueRF
- Every VirtueRF treatment uses a sterile single-use tip matched to the handpiece. Cartessa's own store lists SmartRF tips at $1,700 / 20 ($85 each), ExactRF kits $990 / 10 ($99 each) and DeepRF kits $1,290 / 10 ($129 each). Secondary-market singles are cheaper ($70–$139) but are aftermarket, not OEM. Use OEM pricing for budgeting.
- InMode Morpheus8
- RFID single-use tips are the per-treatment cost: 12-pin Prime, 24-pin, 40-pin Body and the T-tip (K200947, K231790). A consumables-support dealer sheet lists Prime/resurfacing tips at $125, 24-pin at $100 and Body at $155 in boxes of four — dealer / secondary-market asking prices (Aug 2026), not InMode list pricing. Genuine tips are locked to your InMode account and an aftermarket exists. InMode does not publish list tip pricing — get it in writing before modeling margin.
