Head to head

Harmony XL Pro vs Venus Versa (2026)

The biggest practical difference is cost of entry: Venus Versa's new pricing is $70k–$110k, while Harmony XL Pro's is $60k–$110k. They are used for different treatments (Venus Versa: body contouring; Harmony XL Pro: multi-app platform), so the right pick depends on which treatments you're building demand for.

Consumable economics

Consumable cost / lock-in

Venus Versa
No per-treatment disposable. Applicators are pulse-limited wear items: IPL applicators warranted for 12 months or 150,000 pulses, and the NanoFractional RF tip up to 700 pulses (Venus). Refurbishment is $1,500 per applicator including a chip shot-count reset (Laser Part Repair USA); refurbished applicators sell for $2,200-$2,499 (Parts4Laser). The internal shot-count chip is therefore a soft lock that third-party refurbishers can reset.
Alma Harmony XL Pro
Effectively consumable-free per treatment; costs are handpiece refurbishment as modules age (AFT handpieces have finite flash life, ~$1,500-3,500 to refurbish) plus water/filters. Annual reality ~$1,000-4,000, among the lowest in class.
