BBL Hero vs Lumecca (2026)

Published new pricing is limited: BBL Hero lists $70k–$110k, but we haven't verified a new-price band for Lumecca — see the table below for what we've confirmed. They are used for different treatments (Lumecca: IPL handpiece/system; BBL Hero: IPL (bbl)), so the right pick depends on which treatments you're building demand for.

Category group: Hair removal (diode, alexandrite, Nd:YAG, IPL)

No per-treatment consumable beyond ultrasound gel and no per-pulse licence fee. In-motion high-repetition use consumes the same wear stack as classic BBL: dual flashlamps (aftermarket pair around $850), glass filters (aftermarket $750–$1,250), sapphire plates and water filters. Those are aftermarket-quoted wear parts, not OEM per-treatment pricing.
