How it works

The science

A 10,600nm fractional CO2; energy absorbed by tissue water ablates microscopic columns and coagulates surrounding dermis, driving collagen remodeling and tightening. Modes — Light, Mid, Deep, Fusion — control ablation depth and density: fine lines, wrinkles, photodamage, texture, acne scars, benign lesions; a surgical handpiece supports excisional/ablative derm procedures. Fusion combines superficial and deep injury patterns in one pass. Downtime scales from 2-3 days (Light) to 7-10 days (Deep/Fusion full-face).

Patented tech

The dual-ring scanning architecture: the scanner splits energy between the core and ring of each scan spot, allowing simultaneous treatment at two depths/intensities — the mechanism behind Fusion mode and a genuine workflow advantage. Everything else is competent conventional fractional CO2 engineering.

Contraindications & screening

Recent isotretinoin, keloid history, active infection with mandatory HSV prophylaxis, Fitzpatrick IV-VI (PIH risk), impaired wound healing (diabetes, immunosuppression, smoking), recent deep peels or radiation. Downtime tolerance and sun-avoidance compliance are part of candidacy.
