How it works
The science
A 1927nm fractional thulium fiber laser — non-ablative, strongly water-absorbed, creating microscopic coagulated columns in the epidermis and superficial dermis while the surface stays intact. That depth profile excels at sun damage, photodamage, melasma and benign pigment, tone, texture, and pores, with 1-3 days of mild redness and bronzing. The 20W power (up to 4x the original LaseMD) means faster passes and a more aggressive "Ultra peel" when wanted. Microchannels transiently increase skin permeability — the basis of the serum-infusion protocols.
Patented tech
Kerato-Illumination is Lutronic's name for the brightening effect of controlled superficial remodeling — marketing shorthand for the glow. Real proprietary assets: the high-speed adjustable scanner and the companion cosmeceutical ampoule line (vitamin C, tranexamic acid) designed for the laser-created microchannels.
