Bottom line

The older, hands-on sibling to Evolve — vacuum-assisted RF for cellulite and small-area contouring, MiniFX for submental, arms, knees. Proven, consumable-free, cheap used, but operator-time-intensive (30-60 min hands-on per area) and the results story is cellulite/skin-quality, not debulking. Hard to justify new in 2026 over EvolveX; as a used pickup it's one of the better value-per-dollar body handpieces out there. Patients find the vacuum-plus-spark sensation uncomfortable — expect some package abandonment.

The science

Combines negative-pressure vacuum (pulls tissue into the applicator), bipolar RF heating of dermis and subcutaneous fat, and brief high-voltage ultra-short pulses InMode claims induce fat-cell apoptosis in the heated zone. Vacuum improves RF coupling and lymphatic effect; sustained heating to ~42-43C drives collagen contraction and visible cellulite improvement. Clinical effect: smoother contour and modest thickness reduction over 6-8 sessions — not a CoolSculpting-class debulker.

Patented tech

A.C.E. (Acquire, Control, Extend) real-time temperature monitoring cuts RF at target temp and maintains it — genuinely useful for delegating safely. The high-voltage ultra-short pulse is a proprietary pulse train layered onto standard vacuum-assisted bipolar RF.
