The science

Multi-handpiece platform: Max-series pulsed light with filtered spectra — MaxG (~500-670 + 870-1200nm) for vessels/pigment/photorejuvenation, MaxR/MaxYs for hair removal across skin types; the 1540nm erbium-glass fractional creates dermal microcolumns for wrinkles, acne scars, surgical scars, striae; optional 1064nm Nd:YAG for leg veins and darker-skin hair. Standard mechanisms: selective photothermolysis + fractional dermal wounding.

Patented tech

MaxG is Palomar's optimized pulsed light — dual-band filtering, sapphire contact cooling, unusually high stable peak power for an IPL, which is why it outperforms commodity IPLs on vessels. Skintel (shared with Vectus) recommends settings from live skin measurement.
